What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is a more short-term, solution-focused model of attaining specific goals important to you.  It primarily looks towards the future and designing the life you want with the support and accountability of a partner-in-change.

Therapy can be a longer-term approach, which also focuses on goals identified by you.  In session, we will process past and present events in a way that helps you to move forward on a healthy path.

Can you provide therapy over the phone or via Skype/FaceTime as you do with coaching?

Yes, I can (as long as your reside in New York).

What if I want to come for couples therapy, but my partner does not?

While it's ideal for both partners to attend, I am happy to work with you individually.  We can focus on understanding your role in the relationship, changes you can make, and then encourage your partner to join us when they are ready.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means my clients pay at each session and I provide them with a bill to submit to insurance for reimbursement. If you're unsure what type of coverage you have, I'd be happy to help explore that with your insurance company.

What are your fees?

Please contact me at (516) 350-0975 or email me to discuss fees.
